Through Interviewbit, an interview preparation platform that was established in 2014, we have helped over 4000 software engineers land their dream job in leading tech companies.  Gradually over time, most of these companies drove their hirings through our Platform.  Upon interacting with the folks on the platform, we came to realize that the ones getting placed had one thing in common: a mentor-like figure be it their siblings, seniors.. to guide them through the process.  That brought about the birth of the program Scaler Academy back in April 2019. My introduction to the world of joint entrance exams happened quite late. I was initially into electrical engineering, but later on, I became interested in CSE. I got CSE in a tier-II college, and the first year was spent studying very little. I also tutored school kids, which helped me become self-dependant. Coming from a lower-middle-class family in Patna, Scaler Kumar Saurav has worked his way up through alot of hardships. His parents, father who owns a departmental store and mum - a homemaker worked hard to provide him the best education possible. His passion for computers started at an early age when he got introduced to HTML at school and from then on Computers instantly became his subject of interest.
