Despite no engineering degree from a tier-I college, Scaler Harsh Yadav today has a job on the product side at Delhivery. Experience with Scaler Academy : Review for Freshers

Coming from a lower-middle-class family in Patna, Scaler Kumar Saurav has worked his way up through alot of hardships. His parents, father who owns a departmental store and mum - a homemaker worked hard to provide him the best education possible. His passion for computers started at an early age when he got introduced to HTML at school and from then on Computers instantly became his subject of interest. He used to save money on his commute by cycling daily 12-15 km to reach his IIT Jee coaching classes. Although he wanted to pursue an engineering degree at a college in Dehradun, he decided to opt for Burdhwan University which had comparatively lower fee structure. Talking about his college life, he states that there wasn't any coding culture nor any alumni with great past records. IIITH Alumni Startups InterviewBit and Scaler Academy – Reimagining Online Tech Education

For Founders Anshuman and Abhimanyu, it was their love for computer science that brought them to IIITH. The entrepreneurial bug caught the duo early in 2008 while still on campus which resulted in them starting their own ventures "Daksh" - a home automation system prototype, "Campus Bhopu" - a precursor of sorts to Facebook, along with their bactchmate Jayraj Bhattacharya. Although their ventures were a success, after graduation they went on to pursue corporate jobs where Anshuman was hired by Facebook and Abhimanyu joined Fab.com.
