I credit Scaler Academy for where I am at today: Review by Software Engineer at Google

Image
Scaler Academy Learner, Anshul Jain shares her learning experience with us: "During my BTech and MTech years at Delhi’s Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) respectively, I particularly enjoyed working on problems and learning more about Data Structures and Algorithms. In fact, I have been extremely interested in DS and Algo since high school. However, as much as I enjoyed my classes in college, I always felt the syllabus was too theoretical and that the teaching could have been more industry-specific. Later, while working at CaaStle in my first job as a front-end developer, I saw an ad for Scaler on Facebook and I immediately registered for the program. I used to attend DS and Algo coaching classes in college as well, hence, I knew that additional training would really hone my skills. In addition to DS and Algo training, I wanted to learn more about System Design as well at Scaler Academy. Check out the complete Review

My Experience With Scaler Academy- Review By Rohit Sharma

Image
It's so heartening to witness the growth and success of our Scaler's, here's one such happy review, "Like most software engineers, I was intrigued by the video games, and chose science without a second thought. Despite having excellent grades, the lack of practical application meant I had no programming skills when I left college. When I came across Scaler Academy by  InterviewBit , the demo classes made me realise what a well structured syllabi could do for me. Kshitij Mishra 's thorough and methodical style of teaching taught me how to identify and tackle any kind of question. He gave great insights that helped us understand how to express ourselves well during interviews. Tarun Malhotra 's system design classes were critical for my effective understanding of every concept. This platform was my turning point because people with real life experience were instructing us. If there is anything my journey has taught me, it is to persevere and not give up, no matte

How Scaler Academy Helped Upskill My Career

Image
Here’s what our Scaler Baishali Ghosh had to say about the online program, "I applied to Amazon for the role of SDE-2, and got an opportunity to interview with them. But in spite of having learnt the basics, my knowledge about system design was severely lacking, and I got rejected in the last round. A product-based role presented itself in the form of Foyr where I worked on the development of a cutting edge interior design software. I wanted to level up my skills, so when Scaler Academy came along, I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I particularly remember  Kshitij  sir’s classes on DS Algo.  Tarun  sir’s classes on DP, HLD and LLD were amazing. His habit of cracking jokes between lectures kept the atmosphere light. But the one person who deserves a special mention in my growth was my mentor,  Pragy  sir. He had realised early on that I was a visual person, and always emphasized on using examples whenever I got stuck. All his training and constant emphasis on examples, save

The Best Place To Learn Coding Online

Read what our Scaler  Ajay Chavda had to share about his learnings with Scaler, "I started developing an interest in programming algorithms around the second year of my computer science engineering. We learnt how we could use it to solve all day-to-day problems that people face. Like how in Facebook, the underlying data structures and algorithms created by programmers help millions of people connect with each other. After joining Scaler Academy, I got the opportunity to attend superb lectures and receive excellent mentorship throughout the course. I learnt a lot during the lectures from the instructors, and all the teaching assistants helped us understand the concepts better. The peer community was so vibrant that any of us could seek help for whatever problems we had. Learn More: Link At Scaler, I had a mentor from Microsoft, Shouvik Roy, who was the catalyst in my progress. I was quiet and not much of a talker before I came to Scaler. He helped me become better at making convers

Scaler Academy Review: Revamping The Online Learning Platform

Image
"When it comes to coding education in colleges beyond the best of tier-I institutions, things have been known to be dismal. This was the problem statement that Scaler by InterviewBit took up when it was launched a couple of years ago. Already a fairly popular interview preparation platform for coders by then, the founders Anshuman Singh and Abhimanyu Saxena touched upon the idea of taking it a step further when they realized the massive gap that existed between industry requirements and college education." Now becoming a household name in the Edtech industry with a solid base of success stories behind it, read the complete review of Scaler Academy by tech story and learn how it has thrived among top online coding platforms. Why Should You Choose Scaler Academy?: Review by Scaler Harsh Yadav

Image
Despite no engineering degree from a tier-I college, Scaler Harsh Yadav today has a job on the product side at Delhivery. When asked to review our program & his experience with Scaler Academy, here's what he has to share, “The single most attractive thing about the course was that it promised to make us ‘industry-ready’ which is perhaps the biggest limitation in most colleges today. We had never approached problems that way before, we just had no clue about certain things. We learned how to solve many different kinds of questions, without wondering how tough this or that would be, for example, trees had always seemed tough but now, it seems like just another topic and I have Scaler Academy to thank for that. Read his complete story:  Link My mentor,  Pulkit Aggarwal , however, stuck with me and approached me from his own end after that. We sat down, and he constantly motivated me to help with how I approached interviews. If I have to thank anybody, he would be right on to

My Scaler Academy Experience: SDE at D.E Shaw Rajdeep Pal

From having an Electronics Background to now landing his dream career at D.E. Shaw. The journey of our Scaler Rajdeep Pal is nothing short of inspiring. Presenting his story in his own words. "Name : RAJDEEP PAL College : IIT (BHU) VARANASI Branch : Electronics Engineering (B.Tech), 2016–2020 Motivation for joining Scaler Academy : 1. Since I am from non-CS background, it was difficult for me to make a career in the field of software engineering without formal teaching. 2. During my internship preparations, I faced difficulty in understanding data structures and algorithms on my own while learning from online sources. 3. Hence, I joined Scaler academy 4 months before college placements. Original Source: Medium Learning experience in Scaler Academy : 1. The best part was teaching by professionals from the industry. Also, learning from experts was effective and fast. 2. They introduced algorithms and data structures in the most appropriate order and sequence which made it easy for m

How I Got Into Amazon: My Review of Scaler Academy

Image
Our Scaler Mentees are an integral part of our coding community and it gives us great pride to be able to see them grow into a better version of themselves. Here is what our Scaler Shubham Verma had to share about his experience with us, "I came to know about Scaler Academy when I was in the final semester. I have some decent knowledge of DS&Algo but that was not enough to crack top tech giants interviews. I joined it and as the name suggests Scaler Academy help me scale my skillset level by level. The course is very well designed in sections such that it will prepare you interviews in the first 3–4 months of the course. It’s obvious that software engineering is not all about DS&Algo, so in the next 2–3 months you will be trained on different Backend/Frontend technologies as per your choice. So overall this 6-month course not only makes you good at interviews but also gives you your first hand-on experience in the software engineering field. I was persuing this  course  al

Scaler Academy Changed My Life In The Best Possible Way: Review by Suraj Kumar Awasthi

Image
Presenting the journey of our Scaler Suraj Kumar Awasthi in his exact words: "From spending 3 years in a service-based company to now cracking all 4 product-based company interviews, my journey with Scaler Academy has been anything but Ordinary. I barely managed to get admission in an engineering college, joining as part of its second batch in 2011. With no infrastructure, no proper labs, and on top no campus placements. I started facing self-esteem issues. But all I aspired to know was some thing related to computers. There is no other way to put it. I realized that my education is still not complete, and I decided to appear for GATE , even after preparing for 1 year, couldn’t make into a big one and somehow got a private college in Pune, but all it could do for me was land me a job in a service-based company. Initially, I got into a non-development profile. I worked on myself recklessly and luckily, I got my first development project. But I knew I wasn’t in the right place. I w

My Experience with Scaler Academy: SDE 1 at Amazon Scaler Bibhu Prasad Pala

Read the story of our Scaler Bibhu Prasad Pala , from being a Scaler mentee to Software Development Engineer at Amazon in his words. "I am IB Academy Student who recently got placed in Amazon. I will pen down my story! And will leave up to you to decide if it is worthy or not! I was working as an intern (in 8th sem) and work was not great and even my salary was not satisfactory. I tried asking referrals from close friends, seniors, and even strangers. And Finally I got one from very good startup @Fivertran and prepared for weeks and attended the interview but I failed. I was broken because referrals for freshers is a tough job if you are not from IIT or NIT. Now I had no referrals, Soon I found InterviewBit is going to conduct classes and they give referrals and We have to pay after we get placed in our dream companies. I thought It’s a win-win situation. They conduct Entrance test in First Batch I couldn’t get in I tried the second time and I cleared in Second Batch test. Origina

Experience with Scaler Academy : Review for Freshers

Coming from a lower-middle-class family in Patna, Scaler Kumar Saurav has worked his way up through alot of hardships. His parents, father who owns a departmental store and mum - a homemaker worked hard to provide him the best education possible. His passion for computers started at an early age when he got introduced to HTML at school and from then on Computers instantly became his subject of interest. He used to save money on his commute by cycling daily 12-15 km to reach his IIT Jee coaching classes. Although he wanted to pursue an engineering degree at a college in Dehradun, he decided to opt for Burdhwan University which had comparatively lower fee structure. Talking about his college life, he states that there wasn't any coding culture nor any alumni with great past records. When he got introduced to Scaler Academy through some friends he was quite unsure about it but decided to pursue it. Here is what he had to share with us: "For someone like me, Scaler Aca
