My Experience With Scaler Academy- Review By Rohit Sharma

Image
It's so heartening to witness the growth and success of our Scaler's, here's one such happy review, "Like most software engineers, I was intrigued by the video games, and chose science without a second thought. Despite having excellent grades, the lack of practical application meant I had no programming skills when I left college. When I came across Scaler Academy by  InterviewBit , the demo classes made me realise what a well structured syllabi could do for me. Kshitij Mishra 's thorough and methodical style of teaching taught me how to identify and tackle any kind of question. He gave great insights that helped us understand how to express ourselves well during interviews. Tarun Malhotra 's system design classes were critical for my effective understanding of every concept. This platform was my turning point because people with real life experience were instructing us. If there is anything my journey has taught me, it is to persevere and not give up, no matte

How Scaler Academy Helped Upskill My Career

Image
Here’s what our Scaler Baishali Ghosh had to say about the online program, "I applied to Amazon for the role of SDE-2, and got an opportunity to interview with them. But in spite of having learnt the basics, my knowledge about system design was severely lacking, and I got rejected in the last round. A product-based role presented itself in the form of Foyr where I worked on the development of a cutting edge interior design software. I wanted to level up my skills, so when Scaler Academy came along, I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I particularly remember  Kshitij  sir’s classes on DS Algo.  Tarun  sir’s classes on DP, HLD and LLD were amazing. His habit of cracking jokes between lectures kept the atmosphere light. But the one person who deserves a special mention in my growth was my mentor,  Pragy  sir. He had realised early on that I was a visual person, and always emphasized on using examples whenever I got stuck. All his training and constant emphasis on examples, save

An Honest, Relevant review and wakeup Call: My Scaler Academy Experience

Here's what our Scaler Prateek Shukla, student of the first batch at Scaler Academy, has to share about his learning and experience, "One incident that really changed my preparation game was when I travelled all the way to Bangalore for Unacademy tech round, but completely ruined it and got rejected in the 6th round. I realised my mentor  yashasvi girdhar  sir repeatedly guiding me that “It will hurt very bad if you miss an opportunity because of ignoring theory concepts”, but I never paid enough attention. I was very disappointed. But I learned an important lesson that day-Always trust the guidance of your mentor. He will sail you through. Read his complete story: Link If there are 2 people whom I cannot thank enough for endless support and guidance, then it would be my Student Success manager  Vinod Kumar Chandrabhan  sir and my mentor Yashasvi sir. I recently joined Nova, a  Directi  company and I cannot thank the entire team enough for being there. I am getting so much

Scaler Academy Review: How I landed a job at Zeta

From being in an uncertain territory to reaching certainty in coding , Scaler Suryakant Sharma shares his journey with us, "When I joined Scaler Academy, my coding profile was decent, and I felt confident about the questions I knew. But my first mock interview was an eye-opener - I realized I was underprepared, and still had a lot to learn. I owe it to my mentor and my Teaching Assistant,  Ravi Raushan  Sir, who inspired me to not get discouraged, and work harder. I spoke to my instructors at Scaler Academy. They trusted my potential and asked me to work on my skills so that I could land at a much better place. Read his complete review: Link I kept interacting with my coordinator,  Krupali Dudhat  Ma’am, and sent emails to Ajay Sir, constantly seeking guidance and support. They were always patient with me and calmly dealt with my fears and uncertainty. Two months later, I cleared the interviews and landed a job with  Zeta India , one of the portfolio companies of the  Directi  gr

IIITH Alumni Startups InterviewBit and Scaler Academy – Reimagining Online Tech Education

For Founders Anshuman and Abhimanyu, it was their love for computer science that brought them to IIITH. The entrepreneurial bug caught the duo early in 2008 while still on campus which resulted in them starting their own ventures "Daksh" - a home automation system prototype, "Campus Bhopu" - a precursor of sorts to Facebook, along with their bactchmate Jayraj Bhattacharya. Although their ventures were a success, after graduation they went on to pursue corporate jobs where Anshuman was hired by Facebook and Abhimanyu joined Fab.com. Four years into their respective jobs, the duo decided to quit in 2014, and founded InterviewBit .  With their vision of bridging the gap between university education and industry requirements which became apparent after interviewing multiple candidates in their respective companies, they launched Interviewbit in 2015. IB which Abhimanyu refers to as a "massive public library of programming problems" which is a suc
