Scaler Academy Learner, Anshul Jain shares her learning experience with us: "During my BTech and MTech years at Delhi’s Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) respectively, I particularly enjoyed working on problems and learning more about Data Structures and Algorithms. In fact, I have been extremely interested in DS and Algo since high school. However, as much as I enjoyed my classes in college, I always felt the syllabus was too theoretical and that the teaching could have been more industry-specific. Later, while working at CaaStle in my first job as a front-end developer, I saw an ad for Scaler on Facebook and I immediately registered for the program. I used to attend DS and Algo coaching classes in college as well, hence, I knew that additional training would really hone my skills. Ayush Gupta hails from a small town in Uttar Pradesh where dreams are only confined to securing a government job or a private job with a decent package. Passionate about coding from early on, he decided to pursue CS from IIT Bombay but was unable to clear it. With his dream shattered, he decided to pursue BSC in Mathematics which gave him a chance to rethink his career choices on completing his graduation. Although he was academically good, securing the first position all over India in the MSc entrance exam for IIT Dhanbad, he decided to take a different turn and pursue MCA from NIT Bhopal. "I was born and brought up in Jamshedpur and for a long period of time, we had no financial support since my father is not alive, so it was very difficult for me to complete my B tech. My uncle helped us with my education fees. When I was in 10th/11th standard, I needed to focus more on science and had to sideline computers.
